Viva Radio is embarking on a three-day, three-city tour to show the world (or at least the greater Midwest) what we've got. Back On Track is the official Viva Radio mobile dance party. The event strives to bring club-goers an experience as unique and diverse as the online radio station itself.
It was only matter of time before we decided to take this show on the road after a successful debut at Second Floor in Burlington, VT. The energy of this party can be summed up in three ways: sweet looks, sweet tunes, and sweet times. We turned a snow covered town upside down with a club filled to capacity and more good vibes than a Roy Ayers record and now we're on the warpath.
The Voice of Viva, Tedward of Springbreak, ups the whacky ante as the MC for all three nights while a trio of contributors hailing from the station's Brooklyn home pile their record crates in the Viva Radio "Good Times" van for the trip. DJ Neil J Molitoris brings a trifecta of soul, funk, and R&B of his Viva show Get Low!. Absinthe & Presents' DJ Glen gets down and dirty with heavy doses of 70s and 80s classic rock and soul. Lastly, street-savvy Rob Low gets the sound system pumping, the dance floor thumping, and the girls and boys bumping with his celebrated hip hop arsenal. We'll make the most of our stays in each city, swooping up resident contributors and station friends to keep the groove quota nice and high, where we all like it.
The event and surrounding escapades will be captured in full video and audio definition to be broadcast at a later date and time on Viva Radio. Said local DJs, our traveling all stars, and Tedward are all available for press, radio, and television interviews prior to touching down in your city. Viva Radio audio IDs and event bumpers for local affiliate are available for select affiliate broadcast and rotation.
